Cedar Christian School invites all elementary and home-schooled students, grades 1-8, to participate in our fourth annual Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts Fair with the theme “Life in the Ocean.”

Rules & Conditions for Participation:

1                     All participants need to submit an application with their art projcet. Applications are available at Cedar Christian School, 625 West Avenue, and also at the Cedartown Library.

2                     Each student can enter one (1) craft, sculpture, painting, or drawing which, in some way, reflects “Life in the Ocean.”

3                     All artwork must display the participant’s name on the back or bottom of the art piece.

4                     All artwork must have a written description of the project maximum 250 words.

5                     Art projects need to be delivered to the Cedartown Library before 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, and be collected by 5:30 p.m. the same day.

6                     Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, written description and beauty according to grade level, i.e. 1^st – 4^th graders’ work will be judged together & 5^th – 8^th graders together.

7                     Each of the two first prize winners will receive $50.00, second prize winners will receive $30.00, and third prize winners will receive $20.00. Both first prize art pieces become the sole property of Cedar Christian School and will be exhibited at the school.

8                     Items not collected by 5:30 p.m. on November 14, 2012, are left to the discretion of Cedar Christian School.

9                     Cedar Christian School retains the right, at its own discretion, to reject any submitted items if the above conditions are not met.
