Northside Elementary's 4th grade P.E.P. students attended the Coosa River Basin Initiative's (CRBI) quiz bowl on Saturday, May 5.

The quiz bowl consisted of schools from Floyd County and Rome City as well as Northside Elementary and Westside Elementary from Polk County.

The purpose of the quiz bowl is to make our students aware of our area. Students were expected to take time to prepare for the quiz by studying questions on their own. Questions were asked about plants, animals and companies in the area and the impact on the environment.

Northside students that participated were: Saray Bahena, Leslie Cervantes, Allison Hicks, Elia Lucas-Vail, Kasi Mobley, Omar Reyes, Dru Pirkle, and Raegan Westmoreland. They were coached by Sabrina Teems, Northside P.E.P. teacher.
