He was born Nov. 12, 1946 in Rome.
Mr. McGee is preceded in death by his parents, Albert McGee and Etha Mae Hedgepeth McGee and sister, Rebecca McGee.
He is survived by wife, Joyce Packer McGee; daughters, Terry McElwee (Tim), Donna Keller (Marty); sons, Brian McGee (Shannon), Keith McGee (Tiffany); brother, Scott McGee (Peggy) 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In keeping with Mr. McGee’s wishes, he was cremated.
A memorial service for Jon Robert McGee was conducted on Monday, May 28t at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Wright and Pastor John Moates officiating. Interment followed at a later date in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
