The following is a list of events going on in and around Polk County today June 25:

1. The Cedartown Senior Citizen Nutrition Center located next to Burt Wood Park has activities Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Seniors 55 and older may participate in activites. Seniors 60 and older may participate in activities as well as nutritional meals and trips.

2. The Cedartown Planning Commission will hold a special session meeting on Monday, June 25 at 10 a.m. in the council room of city hall.

3. Summer meals for neighborhood childeren will serve lunches at Peeks Park on College Street in Cedartown from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participating children will recieve free meals. For more information, contact Tara or Heather at 770-748-1675.
