Several Shorter College students were honored recently at an awards luncheon during Celebrate Shorter day, which was created to highlight achievement and success. During the awards luncheon, students were presented with awards ranging from academic scholarships to athletic honors.

Outstanding Junior Award

Dustin Perry, of Cedartown, was recognized as an outstanding junior. He received the C.T.B. Harris Award.

Alumni Governing Board Scholarship

- Scott Howard of Rome received the Leadership Scholarship

Randall H. Minor awards

- Meredith Mason of Rome and Whitney Wright of Aragon received the Randall H. Minor Award
